The Buckwheat Valley Citizens Coalition (BVCC) asked Governor Scott Walker to issue his administrations position statement regarding the $425 Million dollar American Transmission Company-Badger Coulee high voltage electric transmission line proposal. BVCC has also asked several other Wisconsin politicians, both at the Federal, State and County level, for their ATC-BC position statements, and has not received any written responses. BVCC and hundreds of other citizens and townships have sent ATC letters with questions regarding the ATC-BC proposal, and have not received responses. "It appears that political positioning is more important than up-front answers, and responses to some questions from town boards and private citizens have not been responded to in writing. Everyone likes to talk about transparency and openness, as long as its on their own terms."
